Intelligent annotations

The use of annotations for inserting comments inside PDF files is increasing constantly. The resulting difficulty lies in the management and organisation of all these annotations.

The statement: more and more PDF files get annotated

I have to annotate hundreds of PDF files until end of the week. To even simplify things, I have to apply compulsory graphical representations and use symbols libraries which aren't quite defined yet... These comments can be of different types (drawing update, work location, highlighting...) and originate from different sources (engineering, maintenance, inspection...). The resulting difficulty lies in the management and organisation of all these annotations.

The solution: iANNOT's dynamical tools palette

With iANNOT you can parametrise the dynamical tools palette that enable you to automate the drawing of annotations, and what's most important to organise them in layers. Moreover, we use at most the "pop-up" possibilities, in structuring the information contained inside, to create dynamic databases. It is also possible to insert manually additional information to the "pop-up" annotations.
