“ The principle of the iPDF solution is to produce, from AutoCAD, PDF, Word or other, or even from simple scanned drawings, "intelligent" PDF (iPDF) files in which all of the information related to the equipments is encapsulated and linked: therefore, the consulting of a simple iPDF drawing (displayed via Acrobat reader) enables you, with a simple mouse click on an equipment, to access instantly all of the related technical files, intervention procedures, linked drawings etc. normalised and reorganised in a defined standard, with an incredibly small file size. The connection to CMMS is an integrated parameter. The ingenious character of this tool lies in its ability to reprocess easily and very rapidly all the available technical documents, regardless of their pre-existing format or medium, and renormalise all the tags and codifications (several standards can even cohabit, with this system) at the same time: this is purely spectacular because the system is able to digest a huge quantity of heterogeneous files, to convert them and to renormalise them in few minutes only (demonstrated before our very eyes).
